Travel Registered Nurse Radiology Job
Registered Nurse – Radiology (Interventional Radiology) for a travel temporary assignment in Rochester, NY. Start date: 07/06/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,590–$2,723 per week. Shift: 10-hour shifts on a rotating schedule. Work setting: hospital-based interventional radiology department in a Level 1 Trauma center, serving inpatient and outpatient populations with pre-procedural preparation, post-procedural recovery, and overnight observation. This role requires flexibility to float as needed and to participate in on-call/callback and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities
- Perform pre-procedural assessment and patient preparation for interventional radiology procedures
- Provide post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care for IR patients
- Monitor telemetry, vital signs, and patient status; manage pain control and post-procedure instructions
- Support patient flow between inpatient and outpatient IR services; collaborate with radiology, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams
- Care for patients boarding overnight pre- or post-procedure and assist with 23-hour care as needed
- Document care, ensure accurate handoffs, and maintain safety and quality standards; GI postprocedural care experience is helpful but not required
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IR/hospital environment; rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities; ability to float to support units as needed
- Education: RN degree or diploma required
