Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced laboratory testing according to approved protocols and SOPs
- Prepare, process, and analyze patient specimens; ensure accurate result reporting
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation; conduct quality control and quality assurance tasks
- Document results, QC data, instrument maintenance, and any deviations; report critical values per protocol
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements; participate in proficiency testing activities
- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve specimen or result-related issues and ensure timely turnaround
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience
- Current Medical Technologist/Med Tech certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Ability to work a 0700–1930 shift on a 3x12-hour schedule in a hospital laboratory environment
- Travel assignment eligibility and ability to work in Benson, AZ
