Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel) in Utica, New York. Start date: 06/29/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,311–$2,393 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour shifts, evenings from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Setting: travel assignment in a hospital-based Emergency Department. Local rate applies for candidates within 75 miles of the assignment location.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department for diverse ages, from newborns to geriatrics, across common ED presentations (Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure)
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop and adjust care plans, administer medications and treatments, and monitor responses
- Operate or supervise use of ED equipment (e.g., Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun) and participate in resuscitation and stabilization efforts
- Collaborate with physicians, PAs/NPs, radiology, labs, and bedside teams to coordinate timely patient flow and care
- Document all care in the EPIC EMR; participate in discharge planning and patient/family education
- May serve as charge RN when assigned; position requires floating to other ED units as needed
Requirements
- Active New York RN license (Nursys verification) and eligibility for licensure verification of all RN licenses
- 2+ years of ED experience with pediatric exposure; travel experience documented on resume
- TNCC certification (in-hand); ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
- EPIC EMR experience
- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics
- RTO (time off) request must be included at time of submission
