Responsibilities
- Provide ICU-level nursing care to critically ill patients as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage devices, and perform ongoing assessments
- Collaborate with licensed and unlicensed care team members to deliver individualized, high-quality, safe patient care
- Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Uphold professional standards per Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics; follow evidence-based practice and unit policies
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team; participate in rounds and care planning
Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in Georgia (per Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act)
- Knowledge of nursing scope of practice and the ANA Code of Ethics
- ICU/critical care experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week) on a 13-week travel assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate within an interdisciplinary care team
