Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, safe care.
- Monitor patient status, interpret assessments, and respond promptly to changes in condition; manage ventilator support and other life-sustaining therapies as ordered.
- Administer prescribed medications, perform treatments, and adjust care plans in response to patient progress and team input.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record; ensure clear handoffs during shift changes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the health care team; advocate for patient safety, comfort, and dignity.
- Adhere to established professional practice models, evidence-based protocols, and applicable state nursing regulations and ethics standards.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (in good standing)
- ICU/critical care nursing experience is preferred
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts (3x12)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to function in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Commitment to professional nursing standards and ethics; knowledge of or ability to apply the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics
- Available to commence on the stated start date for a 13-week assignment
