Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in a rural Montana setting. Start date: 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Weekly pay: $2,290–$2,365 per week. Responsibilities
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, interpret fetal monitoring strips, and respond to changes promptly
- Manage labor progression and assist with deliveries, including operative deliveries when applicable
- Administer medications and perform cervical exams within scope of practice
- Provide postpartum education and discharge planning, supporting families during the immediate postpartum period
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring a compassionate, patient-centered birth experience
- Maintain safe, efficient nursing care for Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics within established protocols
Requirements
- Active Montana RN license
- Certifications: NRP and BLS
- Proven experience in Labor & Delivery
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in a travel assignment
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfortable functioning in a rural obstetric setting and collaborating with the broader care team
