Travel Registered Nurse House Supervisor Job
Registered Nurse – House Supervisor in Geneva, New York. This travel assignment starts May 5, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Earn $1,788 to $1,885 per week with no guaranteed hours. Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Director of Nursing – LTC, oversee the operation of nursing units and provide clinical supervision to staff on assigned shifts
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the Nursing Department’s activities to ensure quality resident care in compliance with policies, procedures, standards, and regulations
- Teach and supervise staff on the shift to ensure adherence to care plans, safety protocols, and documentation standards
- Communicate identified and potential unit problems to the Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Manager and collaborate on resolutions; coordinate with on-call personnel for critical issues after hours
- Make sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and the Administrator – LTC during off-shift periods and weekends, within the identified scope of responsibility
- May float to other nursing units as needed to support staffing and resident care requirements
Requirements
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license (NYS RN Licensure)
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or Rescue/Basic Life Support (RQI)
- Minimum of one year of long-term care (LTC) experience with prior supervisory experience
- Ability to work 3:00 pm–11:30 pm shift in a skilled nursing setting and to float to related units as needed
- Strong communication and leadership skills to support resident care and staff development
