Travel Physical Therapy Assistant Job
Physical Therapy Assistant position in King of Prussia, PA. This travel assignment begins May 11, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 35 hours per week. The role follows a 5x8 day shift (08:00–16:30) in a long-term care / skilled nursing setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,590 to $1,682.

Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments and modalities under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to residents in a long-term care setting.
- Assist with evaluation, plan of care development, and progression of therapeutic interventions to meet resident goals.
- Monitor and document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in status in the charting system.
- Support activities of daily living and mobility training, transfers, and gait training as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team, nursing staff, and families to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
- Maintain clinical and infection control standards, equipment safety, and accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility for licensure (as applicable).
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Ability to work in a long-term care / skilled nursing rehabilitation setting.
- Prior experience in a similar setting and/or travel assignment preferred.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with standard documentation practices.
