Registered Nurse (Telemetry) – Tele specialty, Los Angeles, California. 5-week travel assignment with option to renew. Start date: 05/11/2026. Weekly pay: $1,597-$1,647 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to hospice patients within a telemetry-enabled unit and home-based care plan
- Monitor patient status, perform frequent assessments, and document changes in the electronic medical record
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies per physician orders and hospice protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans and address patient and family needs
- Educate patients and families on disease process, symptom management, and safety measures
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety standards, and HLFS requirements; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; recent experience in a related specialty required
- AHA BLS Basic Life Support required
- AHA ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) required
- Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice Telemetry setting; 12-hour day shifts; willingness to travel for temporary assignment
