Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult patients on MS/Telemetry with orthopedic, neurological, stroke, and general medical diagnoses
- Monitor telemetry data, respond to alarms, and escalate changes in patient condition per protocol
- Perform IV starts, medication administration, and basic procedures within scope of practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans; document in the electronic charting system
- Apply isolation precautions and PPE; maintain patient safety and infection control standards
- Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately; participate in care coordination and discharge planning

Requirements
- Licensure: Active RN license; pending licenses accepted
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required
- Experience: 2+ years of RN experience preferred; first-time travel RNs accepted
- Special work expectations: Comfortable with MS/Telemetry, neuro/ortho care, and adult populations; may float to other MS/Telemetry units as needed
- Scheduling and pre-start: Availability for nights; completion of required pre-start modules and compliance steps per policy
