Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery (L&D) – Travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. Start date: July 13, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,564 to $2,762 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for labor and delivery patients, including monitoring maternal and fetal status, administering medications, and assisting with labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Collaborate with obstetric team, anesthesia, and neonatal staff to ensure safe, evidence-based care
- Monitor and support newborns, participate in resuscitation if required, and assist with breastfeeding initiation and newborn assessments per policy
- Document care and outcomes in the electronic medical record; adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Respond to obstetric emergencies promptly and implement appropriate interventions
- Provide patient and family education on labor, birth, postpartum care, and newborn care as appropriate
Requirements
- Massachusetts RN license (active) and Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency (Nursing Pool) license required and uploaded to profile
- ACLS, BLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications active and uploaded
- Minimum 2 years of current Labor and Delivery experience
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- RTO (time off) requests must be noted and verified at upload; requests made after upload/during interview will not be approved
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
- Ability to work a 36-hour night shift in a hospital setting
