Responsibilities
- Set up CT imaging equipment and position patients for procedures to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
- Perform a wide range of CT exams following department procedures, using independent judgment and initiative.
- Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care throughout imaging procedures.
- Ensure image quality, proper technique, and adherence to radiation safety and department protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and department staff to meet imaging needs and patient care goals.
- Maintain equipment readiness and accurate documentation for each study.
Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license/registration as required by Georgia
- ARRT CT certification or eligible (CT-focused certification or credential)
- Ability to work nights (12-hour shifts) and meet department needs; flexible with hours
- Demonstrated ability to independently perform CT imaging procedures and operate imaging equipment
- Strong patient positioning, communication, and radiation safety practices
- Able to provide age-appropriate care and collaborate effectively with the team
