Position: Physical Therapist Assistant Hospital Acute — Frederick, MD, United States. Start date 03/20/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,214–$1,273 per week. Guaranteed hours: 30 per week. Shift: Days. This travel - temporary assignment places you in an acute inpatient care setting with a large, fast-paced clinical team delivering therapy to patients with orthopedic, neurological, and critical care needs.

Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy services per treatment plans for inpatients in an acute care setting
- Document patient progress toward identified objectives and maintain timely EMR entries
- Support department compliance with documentation standards and reporting
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Provide patient and family education on therapy plans, goals, and home programs
- Demonstrate flexibility, strong time management, and effective communication in a team-focused environment
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited school approved by CAPTE
- Current state licensure or eligibility in Physical Therapy in Maryland
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of hospital acute experience preferred; strong acute clinical rotations will be considered for new graduates
- Experience with documentation utilizing EMR
- Ability to work in an inpatient acute care setting (day shift)
