Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Saratoga Springs, NY. Start August 3, 2026 for several weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,917–$2,033 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: hospital, Travel - Temporary Assignment.

- Residency restriction: local residents within 50 miles are not accepted; restricted counties include Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in the ED for adult and pediatric patients, including assessment, monitoring, and treatment plans
- Perform triage, monitor patient status, and respond to emergencies; manage telemetry and 12-lead ECG administration
- Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and assist with procedures; recognize and respond to dysrhythmias
- Collaborate with Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, and other disciplines; document care in EPIC
- Participate in discharge planning, patient/family education, and ensure safety and quality in care delivery; float within hospital as needed per manager’s discretion
Requirements
- NY RN license required at submission; must have license in hand; provide Nursys verification and be prepared to share SSN/DOB, references, and certifications
- ED experience: 5 years preferred
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, NIHSS; EPIC charting experience; Omnicell medication system experience; rhythm-reading competency; pass facility proctored rhythm/EKG exam
- Additional on-boarding requirements: Relias EKG exam within 72 hours of signing; ability to complete required HealthStream modules prior to start (orientation and Stroke policy modules excluded from deadline)
- Influenza vaccine is required; COVID-19 vaccine not required (exemptions allowed with prior approval); ability to work in a high-acuity ED environment
- Residency constraint: primary residence must be outside a 50-mile radius of the work site (restricted counties listed in this posting)
