Responsibilities
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
- Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Documents and communicates patient status, interventions, and outcomes to the care team to ensure continuity of care.
- Participates in discharge planning and patient/family education as part of the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Works in an ICU/critical care setting with a focus on patient safety and high-acuity care
- Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and critical thinking in fast-paced environments
- Maintains clear, concise communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team
- Able to work a 12-hour day shift schedule (3 days per week)
- Availability for a 13-week assignment starting 10/26/2026
