Travel Surgical Tech Job
Travel Surgical Tech needed in Atlanta, GA for a 13-week temporary assignment beginning 05/04/2026. This full-time travel position offers 36 guaranteed hours per week, with a Day shift on a 12x3 schedule that includes call, weekends, and holidays, and no block scheduling. Work in a hospital setting supporting a range of operative cases. Compensation ranges from $1,249 to $1,338 per week.

Responsibilities
- Scrub, pass instruments, and assist the surgical team during procedures; maintain a sterile field and proper aseptic technique
- Prepare the operating room, arrange prosthetic and instrument sets, and ensure all needed supplies are readily available for each case
- Monitor counts of sponges, needles, and instruments; verify specimen labeling and handling per protocol
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and maintaining patient safety throughout surgery
- Support Level 1 trauma and varied surgical cases; respond to urgent needs in a high-acuity environment; assist with burn-related procedures if required
- Communicate clearly with surgeons, nurses, and circulator staff; document intraoperative events as needed
Requirements
- Travel experience in surgical settings required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Burn experience preferred
- Ability to work Day shift with call including weekends and holidays
- Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced surgical environment; proficient in sterile technique and instrument handling
