Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients using the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Collect relevant health data, analyze assessments, and develop a care plan to achieve outcomes
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team; participate in discharge planning and education
- Delegate appropriately and ensure continuity of care across shifts
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS certification; ACLS certification; PALS certification (per facility policy)
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum two years of recent acute care nursing experience
- BSN: preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital Telemetry setting and manage a 36-hour guaranteed week
