Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care and monitoring for patients within scope of practice
- Administer medications and document accurately in patient records
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in condition, and report to the supervising RN or MD
- Perform basic nursing procedures (wound care, samples, injections) per protocol
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members; document consistently
Requirements
- Active LPN license in North Carolina
- Ability to work in a corrections setting and follow security and safety protocols
- Willingness to work a 3x12-hour shift schedule (07:00–19:30)
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Ability to comply with credentialing, regulatory and facility requirements
