Responsibilities
- Observe, evaluate, and coordinate patient care in the Special Procedures environment according to organizational policies.
- Develop and implement patient care plans; collaborate with the care team to meet outcomes and ensure safety.
- Connect EKG leads, monitor cardiac rhythms, and alert the physician to any changes in condition.
- Record and analyze hemodynamic parameters; interpret data such as shunt and valve-related information.
- Operate the MIDAS system accurately and report significant findings across patients of varying ages.
- Operate specialized equipment (IABP, cardiac output devices, ACT, oximetry, injector systems, defibrillator, and related monitoring systems) as required.
- Ensure documentation is complete, compliant with HLFS requirements, and communicated to the care team promptly.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice (CA) or as required by the assignment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of two years of recent RN experience in critical care, medical-surgical, or Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedures
- ACLS certification required (ACLS or HS-ACLS or RQI-ACLS)
- BLS certification required (HS-BLS or RQI BLS)
- EKG certification preferred
- EPIC experience within the last 12 months required
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, procedure-focused setting and manage multiple priorities
