Physical Therapy Assistant (LTAC) in Rolla, Missouri. Travel assignment starting 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,197–$1,267. Shift is 5x8 days (days). Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. This position supports LTAC rehabilitation under PT supervision in a travel, temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Implement components of patient care under the supervision of a physical therapist; obtain data related to treatments
- Assist the physical therapist in treatment of individuals across ages, from newborns to end of life
- Help patients stretch and exercise specified muscle groups; guide balance and functional activities
- Read and follow instructions from the Physical Therapist; work directly with PT to support patient progress
- Communicate with families to identify best at-home techniques and positioning strategies
- Maintain a clean, organized therapy area; manage patient movement from wheelchairs or walkers as needed
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
- Teach patients balance training and fall-prevention techniques
Requirements
- Active Missouri PTA license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- LTC or Rehab experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a LTAC/Skilled Nursing Facility setting with patients across the lifespan
