Responsibilities
- Deliver emergency nursing care across neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring
- Establish IV access, administer medications and IV vasopressors, interpret ABGs, and manage dysrhythmias in a high-acuity environment
- Support airway management including intubation and ventilator care; collaborate with Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, and other disciplines
- Coordinate STEMI and stroke care pathways; perform and assist with procedural sedation; manage trauma and multisystem emergencies
- Provide care for behavioral/psychiatric patients with safety precautions; partner with Social Services and Behavioral Health teams as needed
- Document and communicate care in Epic; participate in rounds and handoffs; maintain unit flow and patient safety standards

Requirements
- Licensure: Active RN license in good standing in Missouri or Illinois; MO license can be submitted without in-hand; IL license required in-hand at submittal
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH/N einmal NIHSS, and PALS required; CPI and TNCC preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN ED experience; first-time travelers not accepted; patient-ratio experience 1:4
- Education: Graduation from an approved RN program; current licensure to practice
- Additional: Ability to work in a high-acuity ED with adult and pediatric populations; may float within the ED service line per policy; must meet pre-emort requirements and facility-specific competencies
