Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adults and geriatrics in a PCU/IMC setting, including continuous telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
- Manage cardiac and vasoactive infusions as ordered (no titration required), monitor patient response, and adjust as per protocol.
- Provide central and peripheral line care, administer blood products as appropriate, and ensure line safety and maintenance.
- Conduct non-invasive airway management, including BIPAP/CPAP, IPPB, and HHF therapies, with escalation as needed.
- Participate in rapid response and code events; assist with emergent cardioversion when indicated; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during emergencies.
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in Epic, including assessments, interventions, and patient education; coordinate care with IV teams, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary support.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Idaho or a valid compact license for Idaho must be in hand at time of submittal.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (current).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience; travel nurses welcomed.
- Education: RN licensure required (no specific degree stated beyond licensure).
- Special competencies: Telemetry/stepdown cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, care of cardiac and vasoactive infusions, central/peripheral line care, non-invasive airway support, and rapid response participation.
- Charting: Epic experience required.
