Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced setting

- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, manage IVs, wound care, and routine treatments
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff to implement and adjust care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, medications, and discharge needs
- Maintain accurate and compliant electronic medical records and uphold safety and infection control standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical nursing role
- BLS and NIH Certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. day shifts, 12-hour shifts on a 12x3 rotation
- No local candidates within 50 miles
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital Med Surg environment and participate in a travel assignment
