This travel assignment is for a Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech in Helena, Montana. The 13-week engagement starts 07/19/2026 with 40 guaranteed hours per week and Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts. Work will occur in an on-site imaging department within a healthcare facility, using GE ultrasound equipment. The position offers a stable, on-site schedule with a weekly pay range of $2,197 to $2,269.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across vascular, abdomen, and abdominal aorta studies; obstetric imaging is valued, while breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures are not part of this assignment.
- Acquire high-quality images, optimize equipment settings, and ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.
- Document findings and add results to the patient record in Epic; communicate imaging results to the supervising physician as required.
- Work with inpatient and outpatient referrals, including pediatric imaging where appropriate; adapt to varying patient sizes and clinical needs.
- Operate GE ultrasound equipment; perform basic maintenance and participate in standard department workflows and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the care team to support comprehensive patient care; assist with obstetric biophysical profiles as directed.
Requirements
- ARDMS certification required and must be on your profile at the time of submission
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- 2 years of ultrasound experience required; OB imaging experience is important/preferred
- Inpatient and outpatient imaging experience; some pediatric imaging experience helpful
- Ability to work on-site in Helena, MT; prior travel experience is preferred
- Epic software experience is preferred
- OB experience is important; ultrasound-guided procedures and breast ultrasound are not required for this assignment
