Travel Registered Nurse Acute Care Job
GGH Level 3 RN OR - FT, Acute Care travel assignment in Geneva, New York. Start Date: 04/27/2026. Duration: 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,958–$2,122 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 4x9s (36 hours per week). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This is a travel nursing role requiring OR circulator duties across multiple service lines.

Responsibilities
- Circulate in the operating room for a range of service lines, including Orthopedics (total joints, ortho trauma, sports medicine), General Surgery, Urology, ENT, GI, Spine, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry.
- Provide intraoperative patient care as the OR circulator: assist with positioning, sterile technique, instrument handling, equipment readiness, and collaboration with the surgical team.
- Support patient safety and comfort throughout the case, monitor for changes, and aid anesthesia providers as needed.
- Float to adjacent units as needed and adapt to evolving cases; function as the on-site OR RN with readiness across service lines.
- Educate patients and families as appropriate, and contribute to discharge planning and post-op care instructions.
- Document nursing actions, participate in quality improvement activities, and adhere to infection prevention and safety standards.
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS (through AHA or RQI) required
- OR circulator experience required; minimum 2 years of OR experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment with cross-training across multiple service lines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; willingness to float and adapt as needed
