Travel Radiology MRI Tech Job
MRI Technologist – Radiology position in Cumming, Georgia, United States. Start date 05/27/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $2,258-$2,350 with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is 8-hour days, Monday through Friday (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.). Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations across adult and, when applicable, pediatric patient populations following clinical protocols.
- Prepare, position, and transport patients; select appropriate coils and imaging sequences; monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the study.
- Review orders, document imaging in the Cerner system, and communicate findings with radiologists as required.
- Screen patients for MRI safety, manage contrast administration per protocol, and monitor responses and adverse events.
- Assist with breast MRI procedures, including MRI-guided breast biopsy exams when needed.
- Maintain the MRI suite and equipment, adhere to safety procedures, and manage a daily patient load in a high-volume setting (approximately 25–30 exams per day).
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience in a fast-paced specialty environment.
- ARRT certification with Mammo specialization.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency with Cerner or equivalent EMR for imaging documentation.
- Ability to work in a busy hospital radiology setting and handle 25–30 patient exams per day.
- Experience with breast imaging and MRI-guided biopsy procedures preferred.
