Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Craig, CO. Start date 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks, nights shift, guaranteed 36 hours per week, with weekly pay between $1,991 and $2,125. Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans using the nursing process to optimize outcomes and resources.
- Prioritize care, exercise critical thinking, and perform with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Comply with triage, treatment, evaluation, and documentation guidelines; collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate transfers, discharges, and referrals.
- Use evidence-based practices and provide care that addresses psychosocial, spiritual, and family needs; deliver appropriate patient and family education.
- Identify barriers to effective communication based on psychosocial, literacy, financial, and cultural considerations; delegate tasks to ancillary staff as appropriate.
- Maintain professional standards, including adherence to ethical guidelines, state practice acts, and patient confidentiality; participate in ongoing education and quality initiatives.
Requirements
- Licensure: Current and active Colorado RN license or Compact license (or eligibility for Compact licensure).
- Certifications: BLS (required at time of hire); ACLS (within 6 months); PALS or ENPC (within 1 year); TNCC (within 1 year); STABLE (within 1 year); NRP (within 1 year).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher (Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field accepted).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years hospital nursing experience; 1 year Emergency Department or Critical Care nursing experience preferred.
- Other: Ability to work nights in a fast-paced ED environment; strong communication and interpersonal skills; commitment to patient safety and infection control.
