Physical Therapy Assistant – LTAC, Reading, PA. This travel temporary assignment starts on 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $1,409–$1,461 per week with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift: 5x8 Days, 08:00–16:30, in a long-term care/nursing home setting. This role requires on-site work and collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services under the supervising physical therapist, delivering prescribed PT interventions to adult patients in a LTC LTAC setting.
- Implement and progress treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, range of motion, and functional mobility activities.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment, document progress, and communicate any changes in status to the supervising PT and the care team.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of sessions, treatment plans, goals, and patient outcomes in the charting system.
- Ensure patient safety and infection control during therapy sessions and coordinate with nursing and rehab staff to optimize care and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in Pennsylvania or eligibility per state regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in a long-term care / nursing home setting and adhere to facility policies.
- Availability to fulfill a 13-week travel assignment and to travel as required for the schedule.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to document clearly and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or LTAC environments is preferred but not mandatory.
