Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision of an RN
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration in the resident’s chart per policy
- Monitor residents’ conditions, record vital signs, and escalate changes to the supervising RN promptly
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility to support resident independence and safety
- Complete routine assessments, wound care, and care-plan updates as directed
- Adhere to infection control guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico
- Local candidates only
- Experience in or exposure to long-term care or skilled nursing environments is preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30) and perform duties in a skilled nursing setting
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Authorized to work in the United States
