Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job
Registered Nurse – Oncology (PCU), travel assignment in Cumming, Georgia. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,587–$1,728 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Night shift (12-hour) 7:00 PM–7:30 AM on a 12x3 schedule in a hospital Progressive Care Unit (RN PCU) focused on oncology and step-down/intermediate care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients in a progressive care setting, monitoring evolving clinical status
- Administer medications and IV therapies, including supportive and symptom management, and monitor responses
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, document findings in the EHR, and adjust care plans as needed
- Detect and respond to deteriorating conditions, manage pain, symptoms, and safety concerns
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team (physicians, pharmacists, care coordinators) and communicate with patients’ families
- Prepare patients for discharge, coordinate post-acute care and follow-up as appropriate
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in oncology PCU or step-down/intermediate care
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification
- Ability to work 7:00 PM–7:30 AM nights; 12-hour shifts in a hospital PCU setting
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment and comply with assignment terms
