Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor residents’ conditions, document findings, and report changes to the supervising RN
- Perform routine nursing duties and assist with activities of daily living as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and MAR entries; ensure proper charting in the electronic health record
- Support wound care, turning, mobility, and safety protocols; promote fall prevention
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and respond to call lights promptly
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours weekly
- Local candidates located in or near Albuquerque
