Travel assignment starting 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn a weekly pay rate of $2,842–$2,963. Evening shift, 4x10s (10 hours per shift) for a total of 40 hours per week. This travel opportunity places you in a patient-care imaging role within a healthcare environment, performing CT procedures and other imaging services as needed. Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Prepare and position patients, select appropriate imaging parameters, and ensure optimal image quality while adhering to radiation safety standards
- Verify patient identity, explain procedures, monitor for patient comfort and safety, and document procedures in the appropriate health record
- Maintain equipment, perform routine quality checks, and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Collaborate with radiologists and other members of the imaging team to ensure accurate diagnoses and efficient patient flow
Requirements
- Ability to perform CT imaging procedures and complementary radiography and fluoroscopy as needed
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles, patient positioning, and image quality optimization
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to interact with patients of diverse ages and backgrounds
- Willingness to work evening shifts and participate in a travel assignment
- Credentialing readiness for the applicable state requirements; ability to obtain or maintain licensure/verification as needed
- Adaptability to new sites, protocols, and workflow within a 13-week assignment
