Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) - Travel

Setting: hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
Onboarding note: Core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; orientation modules completed onsite during orientation (non-billable hours).

Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures (angiography, embolization, stent placement, IVC filter placement/removal)
- Handle vascular access (central lines, PICC, port placements) and ultrasound-guided access
- Operate fluoroscopy in a sterile field; maintain sterile technique and radiation safety
- Manage PACS/imaging equipment and documentation in the EHR; ensure accurate procedure notes
- Support department operations; lead the IR suite when needed and collaborate with the team to maintain efficiency and patient safety
Requirements
- Active ARRT (R) certification and BLS
- Current New Jersey state license or compact license in hand at submission
- Minimum 5 years IR-specific experience; strong interventional IR background; able to run department independently
- Travel experience required; prior travel assignments preferred
- Siemens single-plane IR suite experience and Epic charting experience
- 50-mile radius restriction: outside 50 miles from the assignment location
