Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care for ER patients, including triage, initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and timely intervention
- Maintain telemetry monitoring for critical patients and respond to rapid changes in condition
- Administer medications, procedures, and treatments per physician orders; document actions accurately in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members; communicate with patients and families to explain care plans
- Ensure patient safety, infection prevention, and proper use of safety equipment; perform accurate patient rounding and reassessments
- Facilitate patient throughput, including disposition planning, transfer when appropriate, and coordination with unit teams

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (MA license required at submission)
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA); TNCC required; PALS or ENPC equivalency accepted
- Experience: 2+ years of telemetry experience; 1 year of prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Education: RN credential (degree details not specified in notes); ability to meet hospital/agency credentialing standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment; willingness to float to other units within the network as needed
- Telemetry skills assessment on first day with pass/fail outcome; study materials provided
