Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital IR setting. This assignment supports a high-volume interventional radiology program with a multi-room, siloed workflow and a fast-paced environment that handles inpatient, outpatient, and cross-service cases. Orientation is part of onboarding and includes scheduled sessions at multiple points during the rotation.

- Orientation: Mon & Tue onboarding; nursing orientation Wed-Fri (bi-weekly)

Responsibilities
- Provide scrub assistance and imaging support for interventional radiology procedures using Siemens Artis systems (Icono, Q, Zee) in a single-plane setup; ensure sterile technique and patient safety throughout every case
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies; facilitate catheter placements, device exchanges, and other IR interventions under supervision of IR physicians; monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
- Capture and review intra-procedural imaging, optimize image quality, document findings, and ensure accurate labeling and data entry in the patient record
- Maintain a fast-paced workflow with careful room turnover to support a high daily case load (approximately 60–65 cases per day across outpatient and inpatient services)
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and technologists; communicate patient status, consent, and procedural notes; participate in safety checks and radiologic protection protocols
- May float to other IR areas as needed to cover staffing gaps and support program continuity; on-call requirements as needed per department needs

Requirements
- Active ARRT Radiography license and Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (in-hand for submittal)
- Minimum 2 years IR experience with scrub responsibilities required
- Experience with Siemens Artis imaging systems (Icono, Q, Zee) in a single-plane configuration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, siloed IR environment with multiple rooms and a high patient volume
- No new graduates accepted
