Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate interventional radiology imaging equipment (Siemens Artis systems) to assist diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Scrub and assist IR physicians during vascular and neurovascular interventions; manage sterile technique, equipment, and contrast media
- Position patients, monitor vitals, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures; participate in post-procedure care and patient transport as needed
- Maintain room readiness, perform basic quality checks on equipment, and uphold radiation safety and infection control standards
- Document procedures accurately and communicate effectively with the OR team to support efficient workflow in a fast-paced IR environment
Requirements
- ARRT Radiography certification (in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license or active eligibility (can apply after offer)
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience; scrub experience required
- 3 years of IR experience and large-hospital exposure preferred; peripheral and neurovascular experience beneficial
- Ability to work the listed schedule (10-hour days, Monday–Friday) in a high-volume IR setting
