Radiology Tech – Interventional Radiology travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. Start date 06/14/2026 for approximately 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,877–$2,956. Shift: 4x10-hour days (Mon–Fri with rotating day off). Hours are not guaranteed in this assignment; hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Operate interventional radiology imaging systems and acquire diagnostic and procedural images, ensuring appropriate protocols and patient safety
- Scrub in and assist radiologists during IR procedures; maintain sterile technique and assist with equipment setup
- Monitor patient status and vital signs during procedures; manage contrast administration under approved protocols
- Ensure high-quality image quality, proper labeling, and accurate documentation of procedures
- Coordinate workflow across multiple IR suites; support outpatient and inpatient services with a high daily case volume
- Maintain equipment readiness, safety standards, and infection control; comply with department policies
- May float within IR service as needed and participate in on-call as required
Requirements
- ARRT Radiography certification (in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (can apply once offered)
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience; scrub experience required
- 3 years of IR experience preferred; large hospital experience beneficial
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced IR setting with strong teamwork and communication
- Willingness to work a 4x10-hour shift schedule and participate in required orientations
