Registered Nurse – Emergency Department in Atlanta, GA. Start date 05/04/2026 for an 8-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Night shift on a 2x3 Nights rotation. Setting is a hospital-based emergency department for a high-volume site; level 1 trauma experience is preferred. Credentialing may proceed with conditional compliance for candidates actively in process.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the emergency department, including triage, assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy per physician orders, while ensuring patient safety and accuracy
- Recognize and respond to rapid changes in patient condition; initiate trauma and emergency protocols as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social work to coordinate patient care and expedite discharge or transfer
- Document patient history, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record; ensure accurate and timely communications with family members
- Implement evidence-based practice for acute care, infection control, and patient safety; participate in quality improvement and performance enhancement activities

Requirements
- 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ER nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department environment
- Willingness to work a night-shift schedule and participate in a travel assignment with a defined start date and duration
- Eligible for credentialing as part of the assignment process (in-process credentialing accepted)
