Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of RNs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; document changes in the resident’s chart
- Monitor vitals, assess for changes in condition, and report findings promptly to the supervising nurse
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility; support fall prevention and safety protocols
- Participate in care planning, implement established care plans, and document care accurately
- Practice infection prevention and control, maintain patient safety, and ensure proper use of equipment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care and maintain quality standards
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work the night shift (17:00–05:30) with guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Prior long-term care experience is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Consent to background check and drug screen as part of the hiring process
