Registered Nurse – Emergency Department, Utica, NY. Travel assignment starting 11/30/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $3,293–$3,450. Guaranteed hours: 48 per week. Shift: Night, 12-hour blocks (6:30 PM–7:00 AM). Block scheduling is not promised. Work setting is an emergency department in a hospital-level environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to ED patients across pediatric to geriatric populations, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Triage and initial stabilization of acutely ill or injured patients; respond to rapid changes in patient condition
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; monitor for adverse reactions and effectiveness
- Collaborate with physicians, transport teams, case management, radiology, and ancillary staff to ensure timely patient flow and safety
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EPIC); ensure accurate and complete charting
- Participate in patient safety initiatives and quality improvement activities; assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license issued by the state of New York (Nursys verification required)
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC in hand
- ED nursing experience 2+ years; pediatric exposure preferred; travel experience required
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR or equivalent acute care electronic health record
- Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED setting; willingness to float as needed per unit policy
- RTO (restricted time off) requests must be included at submission
