Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele, Burlington, Vermont, start 05/18/2026 for a travel temporary assignment. Assignment expected to run 16–32 weeks, with weekly pay ranging from $2,441 to $2,575. Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts. This is a hospital-based role; travel assignment with the potential to float to Med/Surg Tele and MS units as needed. No on-call responsibilities. A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjustments may be required to meet unit and patient care needs. Travelers must work 2 of the 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day). Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays are scheduled as next available.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to Med/Surg Tele patients, including ongoing assessments and vital signs monitoring
- Manage telemetry when indicated and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and IV therapy following hospital protocols
- Document care and interventions in the electronic health record (Epic) accurately and timely
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate discharge planning and patient education
- Float to additional Med/Surg Tele and MS units as needed; adhere to unit policies and safety standards

Requirements
- Current RN license (state of assignment) in good standing
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS; NIHSS required prior to start; NIHSS preferred to be in place at start
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN practice; prior travel experience required
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN)
- Additional qualifications: Teaching hospital experience required; Epic experience within the past 2 years is nonnegotiable
- Preferred but not required: PCCN and orthopedic certifications
- Other: Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts; reliable transportation and ability to travel as assigned
