Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality resident care.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans; coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal requirements; support preparation for surveys and audits.
- Oversee clinical operations including medication administration, infection control, and safety protocols.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, and onboarding of nursing personnel.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and other leaders to optimize resident outcomes and care processes.
Requirements
- Active RN license in West Virginia or eligibility to practice there.
- Leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting; Director of Nursing or equivalent role preferred.
- Knowledge of CMS/state regulations and quality improvement processes.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to manage clinical operations and staffing in a fast-paced, resident-centered setting.
- Availability to work the specified shift and fulfill a travel assignment.
