Travel Registered Nurse PACU Job
Registered Nurse – PACU, travel assignment in Vermont (US). Start date 05/04/2026 for a 4-week assignment with a weekly pay range of $2,094 to $2,267. Shift is 3x12 Days in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the PACU, including immediate post-anesthesia recovery and ongoing monitoring
- Track and interpret vital signs, cardiac monitoring, and hemodynamics; respond to changes promptly
- Manage critical care PACU needs such as arterial lines, titrating drips, and complex monitoring
- Float as needed and participate in weekend coverage and on-call requirements; follow unit staffing directions
- Collaborate with perioperative teammates, anesthesia, and ICU/telemetry staff to ensure safe, smooth recovery trajectories
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient status in the electronic medical record per unit protocol
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in PACU
- Demonstrated critical care PACU skills; experience with arterial lines, titrating drips, and cardiac monitoring
- Experience in a large teaching hospital environment; Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to work in a high-acuity PACU setting; reliable transportation; float, weekend, and call requirements as needed
- Education: nursing degree required per RN scope
