Responsibilities
- Aids physicians in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems.
- Operates x-ray and physiological equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and data.
- Assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as directed by physicians and radiology team members.
- Maintains radiology equipment, performs routine quality checks, and records test results accurately and securely.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety, procedure accuracy, and adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to perform radiologic procedures described in the responsibilities with attention to patient care and safety.
- Proficiency in operating x-ray and physiological imaging equipment and capturing clear images.
- Capability to maintain and document test results and equipment status in the patient record.
- Willingness to work in a hospital setting on a 13-week travel assignment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff.
- Commitment to patient privacy, safety protocols, and compliance with applicable regulations.
