LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a travel assignment in Gallup, New Mexico at a skilled nursing facility. Start date: 03/30/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,213–$1,255 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a registered nurse and physician as assigned.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following facility policies and physician orders.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, assess changes in condition, and report appropriately to the supervising clinician.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record and update progress notes daily.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and support rehabilitative goals as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
- Active LPN license (state: New Mexico) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Ability to work the scheduled night shift (19:00–07:30).
- Availability to commit to an 8-week contract with guaranteed hours.
- Clear communication skills and ability to document care and collaborate with team members.
- Successful completion of standard pre-employment screenings and compliance requirements.
