Travel - Temporary Assignment
Start date: August 10, 2026 | Duration: 8 weeks (Contract Weeks)
Shift: 3x12-hour nights (36 hours per week)
Weekly pay: $1,745 to $1,912 per week
Setting: hospital-based ER providing triage, treatment and supportive care for trauma and emergency patients of all ages

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, professional nursing care for a group of patients during the assigned shift, following the nursing process and medical plan of care.
- Assess, triage, stabilize, and manage care for trauma and emergency patients across age groups as assigned by the unit.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor and document patient response; adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to coordinate timely delivery of patient care and maintain patient safety.
- Incorporate patient and family education and discharge planning into the plan of care; delegate appropriate tasks to nursing staff within scope and competence.
- Maintain accurate documentation, adheres to clinical protocols, infection control practices, and high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California
- Experience in emergency, trauma, or acute care settings preferred
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour night shift schedule (36 hours per week)
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work with patients of all ages, and to collaborate with the care team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet credentialing and background check requirements for travel assignments
