Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Lawton, Oklahoma. Specialty: Emergency Department. Start date: 07/20/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,787–$1,864 per week. Responsibilities
- Identify medical issues for ER patients, determine severity, and initiate immediate stabilization to minimize risk and improve outcomes
- Perform initial assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring of vital signs and patient status
- Administer medications, assist with procedures, and collaborate with the ED team to provide rapid, evidence-based care
- Coordinate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging) and interpret results in the context of patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient responses
- Ensure patient safety, provide patient and family education, and assist with disposition decisions
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma or a valid multi-state compact license
- Minimum 2 years ER experience (required)
- Recent traveler experience (preferred)
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA); TNCC preferred
- Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
- Ability to work the night shift in a high-volume ER setting
- Supervisory references: provide 2 supervisory references within the last two years
- Education: appropriate nursing education for RN practice
