Responsibilities
- Deliver bedside nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per the plan of care; document accurately in the chart.
- Monitor patient status, including vital signs, and report changes or concerns to the supervising nurse promptly.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and rehabilitation tasks as assigned.
- Maintain precise, confidential clinical documentation in the electronic health record; participate in care planning updates.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy protocols; observe resident safety and comfort during care activities.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico.
- Local to the Albuquerque area (local candidates only).
- Ability to work night shifts (19:00–07:30) on a 3x12 schedule.
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing resident needs.
