Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, York, Maine. This travel assignment begins on 08/04/2026 for a 13-week duration. Guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3 x 12-hour daytime shifts, 7:00 am–7:30 pm. The assignment is in a medical-surgical care setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg unit, including monitoring and responding to changes in patient status
- Administer medications and perform routine treatments per policy and physician orders
- Conduct accurate assessments, document findings, and contribute to care planning with the interdisciplinary team
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; support patient and family education
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical guidelines; maintain up-to-date charting in the electronic health record
- Coordinate with nurses, physicians, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements
- Active RN license (state to be verified as part of credentialing)
- Med Surg RN experience
- Influenza vaccination required; medical exemptions with approval
- References and a skills checklist required for consideration
- Ability to work 3 x 12-hour daytime shifts (7:00 am–7:30 pm) on a travel assignment
