Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons; use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in condition.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.
- Demonstrate professional communication to support a healthy workplace and manage conflicts appropriately.
- Participate in continuing education and meet core measure responsibilities related to patient care.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Ability to perform duties in a hospital/acute care setting
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
- Additional certifications or unit-specific credentials listed in the job notes may be applicable
