Responsibilities
- Perform adult and pediatric MRI examinations across acute care, outpatient, ER/Trauma settings.
- Prepare and position patients, establish IV access as needed, and administer contrast per protocol; monitor patient comfort and safety.
- Acquire and optimize MR sequences using GE scanners; routine brain and spine imaging; MSK (shoulder, hip, knee, extremities); abdomen/pelvis; chest; orbits; and post-processing (ADC, MIP, MPR).
- Conduct vascular MRI procedures (MRA/MRV, MR angiography) and assess image quality for radiologist interpretation.
- Manage imaging data via PACS and document exam details in Epic; ensure proper labeling and storage of studies.
- Maintain radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, and environmental controls; respond to patient distress and coordinate with the radiology team.

Requirements
- NY State license must be active and in hand at start
- ARRT (R) certification with MRI specialty; BLS required
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience; trauma Level I/II and community hospital experience preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to work in a hospital radiology department; support for block scheduling and patient variability; willingness to float within radiology as needed
